By- Bijoy Kumar SharmaDHUBRI: Four persons, including a child and the driver of an auto-rickshaw, were got seriously injured in a road mishap on the Uttar Raipur flyover in Golakganj of Dhubri district this night.According to preliminary reports, a boiler-carrying truck travelling from Gauripur towards Agomoni rammed into an auto-rickshaw that was moving in the same direction.The impact left the auto-rickshaw driver, a child, and several passengers injured.The truck involved in the accident bears the registration number AS 01 OC 5696. After the collision, the truck driver attempted to flee the scene.However, local residents chased the vehicle, forcing the driver and his handyman to abandon the truck on the road and fled away.The identities and addresses of the injured, including the auto-rickshaw driver, the child, and other passengers, could not be immediately ascertained.Police from Golakganj Police Station reached the spot soon after the incident and shifted the injured to the Golakganj Primary Health Centre for treatment.
