Prayagraj: A devotee was killed and four others sustained injuries when a pick up van carrying around two dozen devotees turned turtle near Malak Bhayal on Prayagraj -Kanpur highway under the limits of Kokhraj police station of Kaushambi district on Monday. The injured were admitted at district hospital for treatment.Upon being alerted, senior police and administrative officials rushed the spot and carried out rescue operation. Police said that the incident took place when groups of devotees were going to take holy dip in river Ganga at Kada dham. The driver of the van lost his control over the vehicle while making an abortive bid to over take a roadways bus.
