Prayagraj: Kaushambi police on Monday arrested a man and seized five quintals of illegally stored firecrackers from a tubewell room in Fakirabad village.The accused, identified as Mohd Qaiser of Budhpuri, had packed the firecrackers in 53 small plastic bags.Acting on a specific tip-off, Sarayakil police raided the tubewell room and recovered the illegal firecrackers.Qaiser was booked under Section 288 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Sections 5 and 9(1)(b) of the Explosives Act.
