Bhubaneswar: Odisha and Bihar agreed to strengthen cooperation in the sports sector with a focus on athlete exchange programmes, sports science, grassroots talent search and better utilisation of sports infrastructure.On Sunday, Odisha sports and youth services minister Suryabanshi Suraj and Bihar sports and industry minister Shreyasi Singh held a discussion at Kalinga Stadium, marking the conclusion of Singh’s four-day official visit to the state.The discussion centred on building a collaborative framework that would allow athletes from both states to benefit from each other’s sporting ecosystems. Officials also explored the possibility of organising friendly matches and exchange programmes.
