New Delhi: The Lok Sabha on Tuesday passed the Appropriation (No. 3) Bill, 2026, in three minutes without discussion as protests and sloganeering by opposition members continued in the House.Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman introduced the bill at 2.12 pm for consideration and passage. Within two minutes, Sitharaman moved that the bill be passed. It was approved at 2.15 pm. Earlier, she had introduced the Taxation and Other Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2026.
