Nagpur: Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has handed over the charge of Nehru Nagar zone to assistant commissioner Anuj Kopulwar, as incumbent Vikas Raibole is on leave.Zone chairperson Seema Dhomne had accused Raibole of financial irregularities and demanded that he be sent on compulsory leave until completionof a departmental inquiry. She had raised the issue in NMC’s last general body meeting and mayor Neeta Thakre ordered a departmental inquiry.Municipal commissioner Vipin Itankar has also formed an inquiry committee headed by chief engineer Leena Upadhey.In view of Raibole’s leave, additional municipal commissioner general administration assigned Kopulwar the charge of the zone.
