He went around the campus and took stock of the maintenance,” state JD(U) MLC and former chief whip in the legislative council Sanjay Kumar Singh Gandhi told reporters.
“It is not the first time he has visited the headquarters. He has been visiting it regularly. All the structures and facilities available here have come up under his care. It was natural that he inquired about the upkeep and also stressed its maintenance,” Gandhi said, adding that he visited different wings of the party office and later, accompanied by senior leaders, interacted with functionaries in the conference hall. After Nitish became a Rajya Sabha member and later stepped down as CM, he had said on the request of the party rank and file that he would remain available for them in Patna. At present, his son and party leader Nishant Kumar is touring districts across the state.“Nishant is getting appreciable response from the party rank and file and also people at large,” Gandhi said.
