Lucknow: The number of active H1N1 cases in the city went up to 43, with nine people testing positive on Thursday, according to health department.Two of the nine patients were admitted to RMLIMS and SGPGIMS, while seven are under home isolation. All patients are reported out of danger. Four patients undergoing treatment in hospitals were discharged on Thursday after recovery.Chief medical officer Dr N B Singh said the health department and hospital administrations were monitoring patients. He advised public not to ignore flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, bodyache and breathing difficulty.Singh said patients with high fever accompanied by chest pain, loss of consciousness, low blood pressure, breathlessness, bluish nails or blood in sputum should be treated as serious cases and undergo real-time RT-PCR testing. Patients requiring hospital care should be admitted without delay, he said.
