Patna: The govt will set up a Poshan Tracker Command Centre at its headquarters to strengthen monitoring of 1.14 lakh anganwadi centres across the state.The facility, to be established under a centrally sponsored mission implemented by the social welfare department, will enable real-time monitoring of activities at all anganwadi centres.Officials said the public dashboard would provide data on the nutritional status, height, weight and overall development of children below six years. The information will also be accessible to citizens.The Union ministry of women and child development recently launched the Poshan Tracker application to monitor anganwadi centres nationwide. Bihar has implemented the system across all its centres.Officials said anganwadi centres have also been equipped with growth-monitoring devices to assess children’s physical development. Data on the nutritional status of children aged up to six years, along with related reports, will be uploaded on the Poshan Tracker public dashboard.
