Kolkata: JU VC Chiranjib Bhattacharjee formed a committee for Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (PM-USHA) with pro-VC, registrar, faculty deans, professors and finance officer to conduct and oversee the functions governing the PM-USHA scheme, according to the applicable guidelines, rules, regulations and directives. The scheme provides financial aid to state-run higher education institutes to improve quality, equity and access under NEP.
