Chennai: A 29-year-old Nepalese national was arrested by Choolaimedu police after he was accused of trespassing into a house and molesting a 48-year-old woman while she was asleep on Tuesday.The accused, identified as Kesavan, is a native of Nepal and works at a hotel in Anna Nagar. Police said he visited the residence of a woman in Choolaimedu to attend a birthday celebration.According to the investigation, he consumed alcohol, barged into a house in the same locality and sexually assaulted a 48-year-old woman who was asleep. After the woman raised an alarm, residents handed him over to police.Police registered a case, arrested Kesavan and produced him before a magistrate, who remanded him to judicial custody.
