Times News NetworkKanpur: A Nature Walk was organized at the Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology Institute’s residential campus under the aegis of the Society for Conservation of Nature.The Nature Walk was led by BN Singh, Atri Gupta, Mukesh Chaudhary and Kamal Kushwaha.The college dean, Devendra Singh, held a discussion on climate among all nature lovers. He said the consequences of climate change are coming before all of us, in which irregular rainfall, rising temperature and excessive pollution are being seen, and there is only one solution to protect ourselves from all these—maximum tree plantation. “The time is coming when all of us need to come together to plant and protect one tree in the name of mother”, he said.Rajeev Chauhan said that he observed about 35 species of trees and plants and 12 species of birds.Green Hero Elvis said that during Van Mahotsav, the forest department is running the Harit Sarathi digital awareness programme, in which anyone can participate in the ambassador, pledge and poster activities being conducted under the Harit Sarathi campaign. During the walk, Elvis also distributed plants to all the people.Campus staff, Mukesh, Shailendra, Arjun and Rashmi Purwar made a notable contribution in making the programme successful.
