Nagpur: Divisional commissioner Vijayalakshmi Bidari will chair a meeting where Nagpur will be positioned as a hub for information technology (IT) and IT-enabled services in central India under the state govt’s MahaSTRIDE project.The meeting, scheduled on April 27, aims to bring together industry leaders, startups, academic institutions and government agencies on a single platform.District collector, the chairman and managing director of Mihan India, senior officials from IIM Nagpur, the officer in charge of STPI, regional officials of MIDC and the joint director of the industries department will be present. Senior IT mentor Shashikant Choudhary, heads of industry associations such as NASSCOM, FICCI and CII, as well as representatives from various engineering and management colleges, will also be present.
