Nabha Natesh is set to return to Kannada cinema with her next film, several years after making her debut in the industry. The ‘iSmart Shankar’ actor is reportedly teaming up with Dhruva Sarja for an upcoming entertainer to be directed by Vishal Atreya, known for ‘Tatsama Tadbhava’. The project is expected to showcase Dhruva in a different avatar from his usual action-heavy roles.

According to a report by Cinema Express, Nabha Natesh has been finalised for the yet-to-be-titled project, which will be directed by Vishal Atreya. The filmmaker made his directorial debut with ‘Tatsama Tadbhava’, which earned attention for its distinct storytelling. The upcoming film is reportedly being planned as a complete entertainer, with the makers keen to explore a lighter and different side of Dhruva Sarja.The collaboration will also mark Nabha’s first on-screen pairing with Dhruva. The actress has previously expressed her desire to return to Kannada cinema and was reportedly looking for a script that offered her something exciting. Vishal’s story is said to have impressed her and convinced her to come on board.

The upcoming film is reportedly being produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the People Media Factory banner. The makers are currently working on finalising the remaining cast and technical team. An official announcement is expected to be made as a special birthday announcement for Dhruva Sarja. Further details about the plot, characters and production schedule are likely to be revealed once the project is formally announced.

Nabha Natesh’s journey from Kannada cinema to Telugu films

Nabha began her acting career in Kannada cinema with the 2015 film ‘Vajrakaya’, in which she starred opposite Shivarajkumar. Directed by A Harsha, the film brought her considerable recognition and earned her the popular nickname “Pataka Hudugi”. She subsequently appeared in the action thriller ‘Lee’ before moving into Telugu cinema.The actress made her Telugu debut with ‘Nannu Dochukunduvate’ and went on to gain wider recognition with Puri Jagannadh’s ‘iSmart Shankar’. Her return to Kannada cinema with Dhruva Sarja is therefore a significant addition to her career, particularly as she teams up with a filmmaker looking to explore a different space for the actor.

Dhruva Sarja was seen in ‘KD: The Devil’, in which he played the lead. The actor is also attached to another upcoming project directed by Nanda Kishore.
