‘Apko yeh bada accha lagta hai na, back?’: After Salman Khan, Neha Dhupia, Neetu Kapoor takes a sarcastic dig at paparazzi over back shots after they ask her to pose

Veteran actress Neetu Kapoor has seemingly called out the paparazzi over the practice of asking actresses to pose with their backs to the camera. Spotted in the city on Sunday, Neetu responded sarcastically after photographers asked her for a picture from behind, questioning whether they particularly enjoyed taking such shots.

As Neetu Kapoor stepped out of an establishment and made her way towards her car, photographers present at the spot asked her to pose with her back to the camera. Instead of complying, the actress turned around and sarcastically questioned them about the request.“Apko yeh bada accha lagta hai na, ‘back’? (You really like this, don’t you? ‘back’),” Neetu said.The paparazzi responded in the negative, following which Neetu got into her car and closed the door.The moment comes amid an ongoing conversation around intrusive paparazzi photography and the practice of clicking actresses from behind. Neetu was most recently seen in ‘Daadi Ki Shaadi’.

Neha Dhupia had earlier called out ‘back shots’

Neetu Kapoor’s reaction comes after Neha Dhupia publicly objected to photographers taking what she described as inappropriate “back shots” of actresses.At an awards event in Mumbai, Neha confronted the paparazzi and questioned the practice, saying, “Yeh badtameezi se backshot kaun leta hai tum logon mein se? Band karo. (Who is taking these disrespectful back shots? Stop it).”Neha made it clear that her objection was not limited to her own experience. She said she was speaking on behalf of women who had repeatedly asked photographers to stop and were “tired of saying it again and again”.

The issue was also discussed by Salman Khan on ‘Bigg Boss 20’. While speaking about intrusive photography, the actor referred to Neha Dhupia’s earlier stand and said she had “fought against it”.Salman urged women who are uncomfortable with such photographs to stand up for themselves. He called the practice “disgusting” and questioned the mindset behind continuing to take such pictures after being asked to stop. He went as far as suggesting that a woman should turn around and slap a photographer who refuses to respect her boundaries.
