Times News NetworkKanpur: Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) East Satyajeet Gupta held a meeting on Saturday with Jagannath Rath Yatra organisers at the Collectorganj Police Station to ensure the safe, secure and peaceful conduct of the upcoming Rath Yatra.Gupta gave necessary directions to the officials concerned. The meeting discussed security arrangements, traffic management, crowd control, CCTV monitoring and necessary facilities.He said a traffic diversion plan on the Yatra route should be prepared in advance and the general public should be informed. They also said adequate police force deployment should be ensured at sensitive locations.
