Ganderbal, Sep 06: A massive Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) procession was held from Gagangir to Kangan Main Market on Sunday, with hundreds of people from across the entire subdivision participating in the religious gathering.
The procession witnessed enthusiastic participation from people belonging to different areas, who marched peacefully towards Kangan Main Market while expressing their devotion and love for Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Speaking to Rising Kashmir Moulana Asif-ul-Qadri and Moulana Mufti Muneer-ul-Islam shed light on the teachings and life of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). They stressed the importance of following the Prophet’s teachings in everyday life and urged people, particularly the youth, to stay away from harmful and immoral practices.
The religious scholars said that following the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) can help individuals refrain from wrong practices, including alcohol consumption and other harmful activities, while promoting discipline, good character, brotherhood and peace in society.
People from across the subdivision participated in the procession in large numbers, creating a deeply religious and peaceful atmosphere along the route from Gagangir to Kangan.
Meanwhile, Gund Police, Kangan Police, Traffic Police and CRPF personnel made necessary security and traffic arrangements along the route. The coordinated deployment helped regulate vehicular movement and facilitate the smooth movement of the large gathering.
The procession passed off peacefully, with devotees expressing their reverence for Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and reaffirming their commitment to his teachings.
