Chandigarh: Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann was discharged from a private hospital on Monday to join AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal in Moga for the village defence committee (VDC) oath-taking ceremony as part of the anti-drug campaign, only to be readmitted to the hospital after the event.Mann returned to the hospital around 8pm as doctors advised him to get a check-up done after the rally, sources said.
Earlier, Mann was admitted to the hospital on Sunday evening. According to a statement released by the hospital, Mann underwent a comprehensive clinical assessment and standard diagnostic investigations. His vital parameters were found to be stable, and he was admitted for observation and supportive care.On Sunday, the AAP assigned finance minister Harpal Cheema and health minister Balbir Singh to participate in the programme.
