Mandya: Mandya district court premises witnessed tense moments after authorities received another bomb threat through email, triggering panic among lawyers, court staff, and members of the public on Thursday.After thoroughly scanning the premises, police declared it a hoax. Sources claimed that miscreants sent a threatening email claiming that a bomb was planted inside the court complex. The alarming message prompted an immediate response from police. Soon after the threat was reported, police teams rushed to the court premises and secured the area.Personnel from the fire brigade also arrived at the spot to assist in emergency preparedness. As a precautionary measure, police evacuated advocates, litigants, and visitors from the building to ensure their safety.Following the evacuation, security police teams launched a thorough search operation across the court complex. Bomb detection and disposal squads, along with trained personnel, began inspecting the premises thoroughly to identify any suspicious objects.Authorities stated that the fresh threat raised concern, as a similar bomb scare occurred earlier in mid-Feb, when a threatening message was also received regarding the court complex. Although no explosives were found during the previous incident, the repeated threats prompted officials to remain on high alert.Police officials said that cyber experts are examining the email to trace its origin and identify the individuals responsible for sending the threat.
