Vadodara: A man was killed and his wife injured when their motorcycle collided with a truck under a flyover near Dumad crossroads on the city’s outskirts on Friday.Police identified the deceased as Ganpat Patandvadiya, a resident of Bharuch. He was travelling with his wife to attend a wedding when a truck rammed into their motorcycle. Both were thrown onto the road in the impact.Patandvadiya sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to a hospital, where he succumbed during treatment. His wife suffered injuries and is undergoing treatment.The Sama police station has registered a case against the truck driver and initiated further investigation.
