Times News NetworkKanpur:A 62-year-old man guarding livestock was killed with a sharp-edged weapon in Behirin village under Tirwa Kotwali in Kannauj on Thursday night, police said.Pravesh Dubey was sleeping in the veranda of another house outside his home when an unidentified attacker struck him on the neck and fled.Family members found Dubey dead in a pool of blood on Friday morning and informed police. SP Vinod Kumar and CO Kulveer Singh reached the scene with Tirwa Kotwali police and questioned family members. On the SP’s instructions, a forensic team and dog squad inspected the crime scene and surrounding area and collected evidence.. Tirwa Kotwali police station incharge Sanjay Kumar Shukla said the investigation is going on.
