The bullet hit the man in the waist, after which he was admitted to Ursula Hospital in Kanpur for treatment. Police have started investigating the matter.According to information, 35-year-old Ajay Kumar, a resident of Poni Road in Shuklaganj, was having a liquor party with his friend Vijay Kashyap and some other companions. During this, a bullet was suddenly fired from a country-made pistol, which hit Ajay, who was sitting in front, in the waist. Ajay was seriously injured by the bullet.Hearing the sound of the gunshot, people from the surrounding area also reached the spot. Panicked by the incident, his friends immediately took the injured to Ursula Hospital in Kanpur. On information from the hospital administration, police also reached the spot and questioned the young men who had come along.Inspector Pheel Khana police station Abhay Kumar Singh said that in the initial questioning, Vijay Kashyap admitted that during the liquor party, a bullet was suddenly fired from the pistol, which hit him. Police are investigating all aspects of the matter.
