Mumbai: A 33-year-old man working in the shipping industry was killed after being struck by a train at Ghatkopar station recently. Kurla Govt Railway Police (GRP) have recorded an accidental death and are probing further.The incident occurred on March 27. Narendra Mandre was struck by an Up fast air-conditioned local at platform 4 of Ghatkopar station. He was rushed to the Rajawadi Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead. He lived at bhatwadi in Ghatkopar.Police are probing for what purpose was he on the railway tracks when the incident happened. The incident left his head severed from his body, officials said.
