T’puram: A Kollam fast-track special court on Saturday sentenced a 63-year-old man of Paravoor, Kollam, to three years and one month in prison, along with a fine of Rs 30,500, for repeatedly stalking a 17-year-old girl and making sexual advances towards her.Judge Sameer A handed down the sentence. According to prosecution, the accused stopped the girl, who was his neighbour, on road on multiple occasions, made sexual advances, and offered her Rs 10,000 for sexual favours. The incident occurred in 2022.Paravoor SI Nithin Nalan probed the case following a complaint by the girl and filed the chargesheet. Special public prosecutor Saritha R appeared for the prosecution.
