Nagpur: A 27-year-old man from Bhandara district was found dead in a hotel room in Sitabuldi on Saturday. The deceased, identified as Tanoj Kore, had been staying at a hotel on Pakodewali Street since April 8.Police said he was last seen entering his room two days ago and had not responded to phone calls or opened the door since. Growing suspicious, hotel staff forced the room open in the presence of two witnesses and found him hanging from the ceiling fan.Preliminary inquiries suggest he may have taken the step following a break-up with a female friend, though no foul play is suspected at this stage. Police believe the death occurred around 48 hours before the body was discovered.After the autopsy, the body was handed over to the family. Sitabuldi police have registered an accidental death and are investigating the circumstances leading to the incident.
