Patna: A 21-year-old man was found dead with some injury marks inside his shop in Benibad police station area of Muzaffarpur district on Tuesday, with the family crying foul. The deceased was identified as Manish Kumar, a resident of Mishraulia village in the district.His mother discovered the body around 10am, when she noticed the shop’s door was shut. Upon entering, Maya Devi found her son’s lifeless body, prompting her to cry out in distress. Hearing her cries, the local residents gathered at the shop and informed the police.Katra circle inspector Shubhnarayan Prasad Yadav said the body was sent to SKMCH for postmortem examination. “The FSL team was called. The family’s suspicion of murder is being investigated. Further action would follow once the family submits their formal application,” he said, adding the actual reason behind the death will be known once the medical report comes. The local police are investigating the case from all angles, he said.Maya Devi alleged that the murder was motivated by some personal animosity.
