Buxar: The court of principal district and sessions judge Harshit Singh on Tuesday awarded seven years rigorous imprisonment, along with a fine of Rs 15,000, to one Deepak Gond in a dowry-related death case. According to additional public prosecutor Aditya Kumar Verma, Deepak of Renka village under Sikraul police station area, was married to Saloni, daughter of Megha Gond of Sherpur village under Industrial police station area, on June 19, 2020. Saloni on July 24, informed her parents over phone that she was being physically assaulted. The next day, her family received news of her death.
