Patna: A 35-year-old man died under mysterious circumstances in Karbigahiya locality near Patna Junction under the Jakkanpur police station area of Patna on Saturday morning. He collapsed while walking and died on the spot.According to police, CCTV footage shows the man walking from the Railway hospital, Patna, before sitting near the Karbigahiya side of the station. He then began trembling and suddenly fell unconscious. A passer-by informed the passenger help counter, which alerted the Railway Protection Force (RPF). By the time the RPF and a medical team reached the spot, the man had already died.Jakkanpur police received information about the incident around 6.45 am, following which a team reached the spot and initiated an investigation.SHO Rituraj Kumar Singh said, “We received information that a person had fallen ill. When we reached the spot the man was found dead. The area was secured and an FSL investigation was conducted. A UD (unnatural death) case has been registered and the body sent to PMCH for post-mortem. Efforts are being made to establish the identity of the deceased, as no identification documents were found in his possession.”
