Prayagraj: Kaushambi police on Monday arrested a miscreant, identified as Suggan alias Tharuu, a resident of Nanda Ka Purwa, on the charges of brutally attacking a constable on April 23. Police said that the accused in an inebriated state attacked the constable with a stick and a sharp-edged weapon and left him injured. The incident occurred when the constable, posted at Tilhapur (Sarayakil police station), had gone to village to attend a complaint.
