Mangaluru: Urwa police have arrested a 40-year-old man in connection with the theft of a two wheeler from Kodikal in Mangaluru.The accused has been identified as Mohammed Faisal alias Thota Faisal, from Kody, Ullal.According to police, a case was registered at Urwa police station on July 24, after a two-wheeler was reported stolen. The scooter had been parked in front of a residence in Kodikal.During the investigation, police examined CCTV footage from the area, traced the suspect and gathered information through their sources. Faisal was arrested on Tuesday, and the stolen scooter was recovered, police said.Police further stated that more than 40 cases had been registered against the accused at various police stations in Karnataka and Kerala. Arrest warrants are also reportedly pending against him at Mangaluru North, Konaje, Ullal, Moodubidire, Bantwal Rural and Manipal police stations. The accused has been booked under Section 303(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
