The Directorate of Education (Secondary and Higher Secondary), Maharashtra, will close the application window for Part 2 of the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) round 3 for First Year Junior College (FYJC) admissions 2025 today, July 23, at 6:30 PM. Students yet to complete their applications must submit their forms on the official portal: mahafyjcadmissions.in — before the deadline.While the last date for previously registered students to submit their initial applications was July 21, fresh applicants were granted a special two-day window from July 22 to July 23 to complete Part 1 and Part 2 of the form. This includes correcting any earlier information and selecting their preferred junior colleges. Students can list a minimum of one and up to ten colleges in the order of preference while submitting Part 2.Candidates who did not receive allotments in CAP round 2 can also revise their stream and college preferences during this round.

As of now, the state has already completed 7,20,666 admissions through the first two CAP rounds. CAP round 1 saw 5,07,288 confirmations, while 2,51,804 seats were allotted in round 2. Among those, 2,15,157 students confirmed admission to junior colleges by July 21.Following the completion of round 3 applications, students who are allotted seats will be able to confirm their admission from July 26 to July 28, 2025.
