Lucknow: To improve coordination between the electricity department and the Lucknow Municipal Corporation and resolve pending issues related to development and cleanliness projects, a meeting was held on Monday, chaired by municipal commissioner Gaurav Kumar.During the discussion, it was noted that applications for increasing electricity load for certain sanitation installations were pending. Officials said the Lucknow Swachhta Abhiyan had earlier submitted applications for enhancement of load for 12 electricity connections. The municipal commissioner asked electricity department officials to process these cases on a priority basis.The power department requested that permission for road cutting be granted in a time-bound manner so.The progress of the CM Grid project was also reviewed. Officials were instructed to maintain coordination and provide scheduled power shutdowns when necessary so that project work can continue as planned. Senior officials from the municipal corporation, including additional municipal commissioner Lalit Kumar, chief engineers Mahesh Verma and Manoj Prabhat, attended the meeting.
