Patna: LJP(RV) state president Surendra Vivek on Friday welcomed CM Samrat Choudhary’s announcement to observe the birth anniversary of the party’s founder, late Ram Vilas Paswan, as a state-level function every July 5.Vivek expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Samrat for the decision.Addressing a press conference, Vivek highlighted Paswan’s struggle for the rights and dignity of the poor, Dalits, exploited and marginalised sections of society.He said the announcement was a significant step towards honouring Paswan’s historic contributions and commitment to social justice.Vivek said LJP(RV) remained committed to taking Paswan’s ideals to the masses and protecting the rights and dignity of the poor, marginalised and exploited.
