Ahmedabad: The impact of Western Disturbance will bring light showers in some parts of the state including Banaskantha, Patan, Sabarkantha, Mehsana, Surendranagar, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Porbandar, Morbi, Devbhoomi Dwarka, and Kutch on Sunday and Banaskantha, Patan, Sabarkantha, Mehsana, Aravalli, Dahod, Mahisagar, and Kutch on Monday. It is likely to cause drop in maximum temperatures by 2-3 degrees celsius across the state for two days, indicated the India meteorological department (IMD) forecast. There will be no major change in minimum temperatures, it added.The maximum temperature in city at 37.5°C was 0.8 degrees lower than normal, whereas at 25.2°C, the minimum temperature was 3.3 degrees higher than normal. On Sunday, the temperatures are likely to be in the same range, according to the forecast.At 38.4°C, Kandla recorded the highest maximum temperature, followed by 37.8°C in Bhavnagar among others.
