Srinagar, Oct 23: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has forecast a brief spell of light rain at a few places in the Kashmir division during the afternoon on Thursday, with similar weather conditions likely to persist at isolated places on October 24.
According to the latest weather forecast, generally dry weather is expected across Jammu and Kashmir from October 25 to 31, although cloudy conditions may develop towards October 31.
The weather is likely to turn more unsettled in early November, with generally cloudy conditions and the possibility of light rain and light snowfall over higher reaches at a few places from November 1 to 3.

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Centre has advised farmers to continue harvesting and other agricultural activities during the forecast period.
