LOCATION
Latur district is positioned between 17°52′N–18°50′N latitudes and 76°12′E–77°18′E longitudes. It is bounded by Beed and Parbhani districts in the north, Nanded in the northeast, Karnataka in the southeast, and Dharashiv in the southwest and west.
