Prayagraj: A labourer died and a contractor was injured after they got trapped under the debris of shuttering of the roof of an under-construction house at Daniyalpur, Lalgopalganj on Tuesday. The roof was being cast when, suddenly, one of the scaffolding props supporting the shuttering snapped. Two persons, including a labourer and a contractor working at the site, were trapped beneath the debris, police said. Police, along with the locals, rescued both with the help of a loader (JCB). However, the labourer succumbed to injuries while the contractor was undergoing treatment at a local hospital.
