Kolkata: An impoverished family from Diamond Harbour has appealed to district administration and Bengal govt for help to bring home the body of a migrant worker killed in Kerala. Matibul Fakir, a resident of Adaldar Para who moved to Kerala two weeks ago to work as a construction labourer, died after a truck hit him in Thrissur on Friday. Unable to afford the transportation expenses, the family and local residents have urged authorities to intervene and help bring his body back.
