PSEB has opened the examination form and fee submission process for regular Class 10 and 12 students appearing for the Punjab Board exams 2027.

The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has released the schedule for submission of examination forms and payment of fees for the Punjab Board Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations 2027. The annual board examinations are expected to be held in February-March 2027.

The schedule covers regular students enrolled in government, recognised, affiliated and associated schools. Schools can start generating examination forms and depositing the prescribed examination fees from October 5, 2026.

PSEB Class 10, 12 registration 2027: Last date without late fee

According to the schedule, the last date for submitting examination forms and paying the prescribed fee without a late fee is October 23, 2026.

Schools can complete the process online or generate a bank challan for offline payment. However, different deadlines have been prescribed for online submission and payment through offline challans once the regular deadline expires.

Schools and students should therefore complete the registration process within the initial deadline to avoid additional financial liability.

Punjab Board Class 10 exam fee 2027

For regular Class 10 students, the total examination fee has been fixed at Rs 2,000. This includes Rs 1,650 as the examination fee and Rs 350 towards the hard copy and digitised soft copy. Students opting for an additional subject, wherever applicable, will have to pay Rs 550 per additional subject.

Punjab Board Class 12 exam fee 2027

For regular Class 12 students, the total prescribed fee is Rs 2,450. Of this, Rs 2,050 is the examination fee, while Rs 400 is charged for the hard copy and digitised soft copy.

An additional subject will attract a fee of Rs 550 per subject, wherever applicable.

Punjab Board exams 2027: Timetable not released yet

The PSEB registration schedule does not contain the detailed dates for the Class 10 and Class 12 written examinations. The board examinations are scheduled to take place in February-March 2027, but the subject-wise timetable will be issued separately.Students should therefore distinguish between the examination form and fee schedule and the actual Punjab Board exam timetable 2027. The latter is yet to be announced.

75% attendance mandatory for board exams

The board has also reiterated the attendance requirement for candidates appearing in the examinations. Students must have at least 75% attendance to be eligible to appear in the written as well as practical examinations.

Schools will consequently need to ensure that eligible students complete the examination form process within the prescribed deadlines while also meeting the attendance requirement.

For students preparing for the Punjab Board Class 10 and 12 examinations 2027, the immediate priority is to ensure that their examination forms are submitted correctly and fees are deposited on time. The detailed subject-wise examination schedule will be released by PSEB separately.
