Kanpur: Kanpur Development Authority (KDA) on Thursday denied reports that it had sealed a building linked to the brothers of Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana, stating that only a notice was served for alleged commercial activities violating norms.The enforcement team had inspected the premises and found a restaurant operating in the basement and coaching centres on upper floors. While locals claimed sealing marks were later removed, KDA Secretary Abhay Kumar Pandey said no building was sealed and action would be taken only if compliance was not ensured after notice.Building owner Bittu Mahana alleged he was not given adequate time to present required documents and clearances before the action.
