Karthik Narayanadoss, Head of Legal, Montra Electric, said the JSA Boardroom Connect offered an insightful discussion on the growing relevance of artificial intelligence, board responsibilities, compliance and governance.
Speaking on the sidelines of the roundtable, Narayanadoss said the discussion was particularly relevant given the participation of professionals from diverse industries and functions, including legal and finance leaders and CFOs.
“I think this is a wonderful initiative by ET and JSA. The topic which was discussed today is very relevant. The idea of AI, what the board needs to do, and compliance and governance issues are very interesting and relevant topics that were discussed,” he said.
Narayanadoss said the diverse participation added significant value to the discussion, with insights that could be applied across industries.
“Considering the participants who have come from diverse industries, both on the legal side as well as the finance side, the CFOs of various companies, the insights that were given were excellent. There were a lot of takeaways. I think they should be useful for application in all industries,” he said.
Calling it a “very good” and “very informative” session, Narayanadoss also appreciated the efforts by JSA and the event team in facilitating the discussion.
