Bengaluru: The high court passed an interim order recently, directing Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) to restrain its senate members — until the next date of hearing — from conducting their proposed inspection of the university for continuation of affiliation.Justice ES Indiresh passed this order after hearing a petition filed by Karnataka State Association of Management of Nursing and Allied Health Institutions.The petitioners had urged the court to issue directions to RGUHS to conduct inspection for continuation of affiliation for academic year 2026-27 onwards, strictly in terms of RGUHS Act, statute and the decision arrived at the 194th (special) syndicate meeting on Dec 24, 2024.
