MYSURU/CHAMARAJANAGAR: Karnataka police will investigate the case of attack on anti-poaching camps in Hanur in the aftermath of the killing of three villagers by the forest department.Though the incident happened on Aug 15, hours after the killing of the three villagers, police said the foresters reported the case on Tuesday.There is also a charge that one APC was damaged using explosives, but the cops have stated that they are probing the issue.Forest minister Ramlinga Reddy confirmed to TOI that a complaint has been filed with Chamarajanagar police regarding vandalisation of anti-poaching camps in the Hanur region of Cauvery Wildlife Sanctuary.To a query, the minister said the incidents happened on Aug 15 and there has been a delay in reporting them to police. He said cops will investigate to verify whether any explosives were used to blow up an APC.A senior police officer told TOI that a team of Scene of Crime Officers (SOCO) has been deputed to the spot for a thorough investigation.
