Jaipur: A special court hearing Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) cases Friday issued arrest warrants against retired IAS officer Subodh Agarwal and three others in connection with the alleged Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) scam. The other three accused were Jeetendra Sharma, Sanjeev Gupta and Mukesh Goyal.A senior official said the warrants were issued by ACB Court Number 1 after the accused failed to appear before the investigating agency during the course of the probe. Officials said that if the arrest warrants issued against the four persons cannot be executed, the agency will initiate proceedings to seek orders for the attachment of their properties.Investigators said Agarwal evaded authorities for several weeks as the probe into the alleged irregularities under the JJM intensified. CCTV footage gathered from several cities was examined to trace his movements and identify possible associates helping him elude capture. The ACB on Feb 17 conducted a series of search operations and questioned nearly 50 individuals as part of the probe. Multiple raids were conducted across 21 cities across multiple states to trace the accused and gather evidence related to the case. tnn
