Jaipur: Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has proposed five new land pooling schemes to facilitate planned urban expansion, covering industrial, residential and mixed-use development. Two of the schemes are planned along Mahal Road, while three are proposed on Agra Road, Kalwar Road and near Tonk Road in Sanganer, officials said. JDA has identified a 127.08-hectare plot in Ramchandrapura across Rampura and Kanwarpura villages, earmarked largely for industrial use, with over 58% land allocated to industries and recreational spaces, including road networks up to 200 feet wide. Another 266.42-hectare plot spanning Vidhani, Rampura, Kanwarpura, Jaichandpura and Vimalpura villages has been selected primarily for residential development. On the northeastern outskirts, a plot near Khori Ropada village on Agra Road has been identified for development under the heritage city plan, with both residential and industrial components. A mixed-use scheme covering over 380 hectares is proposed on Kalwar Road, while another is planned in Muhana Mandi area, where 62% land is residential, with provisions for public and semi-public use.tnn
