Kanpur: Krishna Janmashtami festivities commenced at the Shri Radha Krishna Mandir (J K Mandir) in Kamala Nagar, Kanpur,on Thursday with religious and cultural performances on the theme “The Marriage of Devaki and Vasudeva and the Prophecy.“According to a representative of Radha Krishna Trust a special event will be organised at the temple on Janmashtami on Friday. The theme of the celebrations will be ‘Shri Krishna Janmotsav and Bal Leela.’ Plays associated with Lord Krishna’s birth and childhood will be presented on Friday.
