Iran has reportedly hardened its nuclear stance after fresh threats from Donald Trump, with sources telling Reuters that Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei ordered Iran’s 60% enriched uranium stockpile must never leave the country. Tehran fears exporting near-weapons-grade material would leave Iran exposed to future U.S. or Israeli strikes. The shift comes after earlier signals that Iran could ship out part of its uranium reserves under a deal. Now, Iranian officials are instead discussing dilution formulas under IAEA oversight, while insisting the uranium is needed for peaceful and medical purposes amid fears of renewed war.
