New Delhi: In a move set to open new international pathways for Indian students, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) introduced a dual-degree programme in collaboration with AGH University of Krakow, Poland. This Master of Science programme, set to begin in the 2025–2026 session, focuses on digital production for sustainable manufacturing—an area gaining significant relevance in today’s global industrial landscape.The programme will provide students with both international exposure and academic diversity. It spans four semesters, beginning in October 2025. “The first two semesters will take place at AGH University in Krakow, allowing students to immerse themselves in Poland’s academic and cultural environment. They will then return to GGSIPU in Delhi for the third semester, after which they will complete an internship in either Poland or India, depending on their preference or placement opportunities,” said an official.To be eligible for the programme, applicants must hold a graduate degree in any discipline with at least 60%. Additionally, they should have studied at least one course in mathematics, statistics, economics, or operations research during their undergraduate studies. Admission is based on the candidates’ academic performance (70% weightage) and a personal interview (30% weightage), aiming to select candidates with both intellectual promise and professional clarity.“The fee is the same as GGSIPU’s existing MBA programme. This amount covers tuition, examination fees, university charges and contributions to innovation and incubation initiatives,” the official added.GGSIPU is also going to introduce a three-year bachelor of law (LLB) programme from this session. The course will be available at the University School of Law & Legal Studies, located at the university’s Dwarka campus, as well as at two affiliated institutions—Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies and Chandraprabhu Jain College of Higher Studies.In its inaugural year, each of the three institutes will offer 60 seats, bringing the total intake capacity to 180 students. Admission to the course will be granted through a common entrance test conducted by GGSIPU, ensuring a uniform and merit-based selection process for all applicants. The university is also offering two focused courses—rehabilitation psychology and psychiatric social work—with applications open until July 24.
