Lucknow: The department of geography at Avadh Girls’ Degree College organized a Inter-College Documentary Competition to commemorate World Ozone Day on Wednesday.Participating student teams presented short documentaries highlighting the impact of chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and global warming on ozone layer and steps citizens can take to save it.The students from Karamat Hussain Muslim Girls’ College secured the first position. The team comprised Sarah Siddiqui, Afeefa Khatoon and Sana Parveen. The second position was bagged by team from KKC which was represented by Gaurav S. Yadav.The third place was secured by Avadh Girls’ Degree College. The team members comprised Archisa Sharma, Hema Dembla, Kashish Chaurasia and Iqra Javed.
