Mangaluru: A complaint was filed against an Instagram user for allegedly posting photographs of a sword and a pistol on social media, with the intent to instil fear among the public.The complainant stated that on Feb 11, while checking Instagram accounts, he noticed that the account holder posted a photograph of a sword on Jan 16 and a photograph of a pistol the next day, as Instagram stories. The said stories were also saved as highlights on the account. It is alleged that the account holder, with the intention of instilling fear among the public, uploaded the images. A case has been registered at Panambur police station.
